Behind every beautiful space we design, lies a story of dreams, decisions, and determination. And that story began in 2012, when Ateliers De’esign was offi cially born — a vision turned into a reality by two individuals who dared to dream differently.
The Beginning
When Vaishal Desai decided not to take up his fi rst job offer after graduating from Bharati Vidyapeeth College in 2009, it wasn’t out of confusion — it was clarity. He knew that his purpose wasn’t behind a desk in someone else’s firm. It was in building his own.
Coming from a job-oriented family, this decision was far from easy. With no business background, no clients, and no guarantees, starting an interior design company was a huge leap of faith. But faith, backed by fierce determination, laid the foundation for Ateliers.
In 2012, the firm was registered officially. What followed was a journey full of challenges, learning curves, and slow but steady wins. From convincing parents to taking on projects with limited resources, every struggle added a new layer of experience and resilience.
A Team of Two
In December 2015, Vidhi Desai joined Ateliers offi cially after moving to Navi Mumbai post marriage. With a strong academic background from South Gujarat University and four years of work experience, she brought a new energy to the studio.
She believes in the power of mindset and manifestation, and her go-getter attitude has played a big role in shaping the business. Together, Vaishal and Vidhi have grown Ateliers into a brand that’s not just about interiors — but about spaces with soul and purpose.
Our Growth
From a one-man startup to a full-fl edged design studio with projects across 11+ cities including Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, and more — the journey has been anything but ordinary.
In these 13+ years, Ateliers De’esign has successfully completed over 100 residential and commercial projects, solely through client references and word-of-mouth trust.
